Sound experimenters Magnetik have come up with an album that hasn't been done before. The CD contains 22 tracks, full of strange atmospheres and interplanetary sounds. Special guests have also contributed. Actor Radovan Lukavský, one of the last Czech science-fiction strongmen (Ikarie XB 1) supported the project with his unmistakable voice. Avant-garde French cellist Jean-Philippe Feiss contributed his original style of playing. A legend in the field of UFO phenomenon research, retired USAF Major Robert Dean provided a somewhat unexpected epilogue.
This record is first and foremost beautiful and impressive. Moimir, Peter Van Krbetz and SM 24 shake their aesthetic hats not only to Wells, but perhaps even more to other classics of the genre: Jules Verne, Ludvík Soucek and J.M. Troska.
